We Offer

  • A unique role based in Zurich in which you will be responsible for running the Global Focus Client Committee (GFCC)
  • Responsibility for you to design and implement the Global RR appetite framework and governance that covers both client and transaction risks for a designated list of Global Focus Clients with the highest Compliance and Reputational Risks, formalizing linkages and critical issue processes between Regional RR Committees and the GFCC
  • A unique platform with a high degree of exposure as you will have on-going interaction with Regional Reputational Risk approvers, Sustainability affairs and Compliance, to identify key RR trends, issues and pipeline activities to ensure appropriate governance and that the risk appetite framework remains up to date
  • The chance for you to manage regular and ad hoc Global Focus Client Committee meetings to assess proposed new activities, adverse news coverage and changes to reputational risk appetite, you will be responsible for all administrative tasks for the committee, including producing detailed minutes, ensuring actions are accurately tracked and compliance with banking secrecy requirements
  • Provide support for other areas of reputational risk management including design of risk appetite statements for Reputational risk, research into specific thematic sectors and compliance monitoring of Divisions with Global Risk appetite statement and policy, reporting on Reputational Risk for senior committees such as GFCC, Group Risk Report, RRSC, BoD Risk Committee, ICS CARMC etc.
  • Represent Reputational Risk Management with outside and inside key business partners, and provide training presentations where needed

You Offer

  • University degree in economics, law, politics or similar education
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Risk, Compliance, Front Office, Corporate Communications or Public Policy
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) paired with your ability to write clear and comprehensive Policy documentation as well as to make compelling presentations in order to foster consensus in decisional processes, also for challenging and complex initiatives
  • Strong coordination skills, which enables you to produce high quality materials and notes often within short time frames
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to deal with subjective issues and design a framework to analyse the risks in them, and perform research
  • Keen interest and awareness in external issues such as environmental issues (climate change, deforestation), political issues (corruption, human rights, anti-money laundering), conduct and ethics, and operational risks
  • You are a dedicated problem solver with a positive personality and can-do attitude
  • You have strong interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with top level management, and representatives from across the organisation including Compliance, Risk, Public Policy, Corporate Communications and Front Office
